About this website
AAYNA is an online fashion accessories brand for women in Bangladesh. Our online shop is preparing to launch. While this information page is all that is available, it does not ask you for any personal information and does not use cookies or analytics. The rest of this policy describes how we handle information once the shop and customer accounts are open.
Information we collect
When you create an account
- Your name and email address.
- Your phone number, if you choose to add it.
- A password, if you register with email. We never store your password itself; we store only a secure one-way hash of it.
When you place an order
- Your name, phone number and, optionally, your email address.
- Your delivery address and district, and any delivery note you add.
- The products you order, the amounts charged and your chosen payment method.
Signed-in customers can save delivery addresses to their account and see their order history.
Payments
Orders are currently paid by Cash on Delivery. We do not collect or store debit or credit card details. If we add other payment methods in future, we will update this policy before they are offered.
Technical information
Like most websites, our servers and hosting provider process technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. We use it to run the website, prevent abuse (for example, limiting repeated sign-in attempts) and keep accounts secure.
Google Sign-In
You can choose to sign in with your Google account instead of a password. If you do:
- We ask Google only for basic sign-in information: your name, your email address and a Google account identifier.
- We use this information only to create your AAYNA account, sign you in and keep your account linked to your Google login.
- We only accept Google accounts with a verified email address.
- Your profile picture may be included in what Google shares, but we do not store it.
- We never receive your Google password, and we do not access your Gmail, contacts, Google Drive or any other Google data.
- We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising or share it with anyone else.
You can disconnect Google from your AAYNA account in your account settings (after setting a password), or remove AAYNA's access at any time from your Google Account's security settings.
AAYNA's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy.
How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and sign you in.
- To confirm, prepare, deliver and track your orders.
- To contact you about your order, for example to confirm it or arrange delivery.
- To provide customer support, including help if there is a problem with an order.
- To keep the website and your account secure and prevent fraud or misuse.
- To keep records of orders and payments for our business.
Emails we send
We send transactional emails that are needed for your account and orders, such as verifying your email address, resetting your password and order updates. We do not send marketing emails unless you have chosen to receive them.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the shop:
- Delivery courier. To deliver your order, we give our courier partner your name, phone number, delivery address, order number, the amount to collect on delivery and any delivery note.
- Service providers. Our website is hosted by Vercel, our data is stored with MongoDB Atlas and our transactional emails are sent through Resend. They process information on our behalf to provide these services.
- Google, if you choose Google Sign-In, as described above.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our customers and AAYNA.
Cookies and browser storage
When you sign in, we set one essential cookie that keeps you signed in. Your browser also stores your shopping bag and small display preferences on your own device. We do not currently use advertising or analytics trackers. If we start to, we will update this policy first.
How we protect your information
- The website uses HTTPS.
- Passwords are stored only as secure hashes, never in plain text.
- Sign-in sessions use a secure cookie that page scripts cannot read, and you can sign out of other devices from your account.
- Only authorised AAYNA team members can view customer and order information, and their access depends on their role.
No method of storing or sending information online is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and limit who can access it.
How long we keep information
We keep your account information while your account is open. We keep order records for as long as we need them for delivery, customer support, resolving any problems with orders, and our business and legal record-keeping.
Your account and choices
- You can view and update your name, phone number and saved addresses in your account.
- You can change your password, change your email address and sign out of your other devices.
- You can request deletion of your account from your account settings or by emailing us. Our team will process your request and email you to confirm. We may need to keep some order records for the reasons described above.
- You can ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing us.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the shop develops. We will change the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, tell customers by email or on the website.
